Adding Texture» »This is one of my first avatar tutorials ever made, so do forgive me if its a bit unclear. Anyways, you'll learn the steps on how I made my Sasuke Avatar. Hope you enjoy this tutorial! =3Now this is where we'll finish off this tutorial. Now since I like the final product with the shadows, I'll choose that as my base Image. 1. First off is to get a nice Texture. I'm going to use this texture from arisubox.
Then paste your main picture(After cutting the BG of the pic) on a New Layer. 2. Then Duplicate it and set that one on 'Multipy' 50% Opacity. 3. Put this Gradient on and set it on 'SoftLight' 100% Opacity.
4. Then also put this light texture from ashkeicons. Set it to 'Screen' 100% Opacity.
5. Then grab this texture, also from ashkeicons. And set it to 'Multiply' 100% Opacity.
7. (Make another new layer) The put this on (actually a brush from arisubox) and set it to 'Multiply' and move it around. Or go to Edit>Define Brush and theres your brush.
8. (Make another new layer) Yet another brush, but make this one as a brush for you to use, since I'm going to use this color #B40808. This brush is from bittenicons
9. Make a new layer and put a simple 1px black border on 'SoftLight' and you're done! ^^ Final Product:
